Class 3 had a lovely afternoon today, cooking with Mrs Walter. We used a recipe to make some lovely Victoria Sponges.
Here is the recipe if you would like to cook them at home.
3 large eggs
175g cater sugar
175g self-raising flour
175g butter at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
First cream the butter and the sugar together.
Next add the beaten eggs slowly.
Then add the flour and the vanilla extract and whisk them together.
Divide the mixture between 12 cake cases and bake in a pre heated oven (190c 375f gas mark 5) for 15 mins.
